This policy explains what hamradioplayground.com collects when you visit, subscribe to Notes from the Bench, send a partner note, or opt in to email from an order on the shop.

Information This Site Collects

There is no visitor account and no checkout on this domain.

• Notes from the Bench. The signup stores the email address you type, the date, a status, an unsubscribe token, and whether the address came from the site, a shop opt-in, or was added by hand. It does not ask for a name.
• Shop opt-in. Orders are placed on shop.hamradioplayground.com. That shop is a separate site. Fourthwall hosts it and supplies the products. Freedom Plan LLC runs the shop. This site does not see your card, your shipping address, or the items. If you opt in to email on that order, Fourthwall sends this site the email address and it is added to the same list. If you do not opt in, the order is not added here.
• Partner notes. The form on the partners page stores the name, email, company, website if you give one, and the note, so Freedom Plan LLC can reply. That note is not added to the bench list.
• Request logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. A normal visit can appear in their request logs, the same way any site logs a page load. This site does not run Google Analytics or any other traffic product of its own, and it does not sell those logs.

How That Information Is Used

• To send Notes from the Bench to addresses that are subscribed.
• To send the unsubscribe link, and to honor it.
• To reply to a partner note.
• To keep the site online and to fix it when something breaks.

The list is not sold. A partner note is not used as a mailing list.

Email

Notes from the Bench are sent through Resend. Every note includes an unsubscribe link. That link opens a page on this site and, once you confirm, the address is marked unsubscribed.

Embedded Video

Video pages embed the YouTube player from youtube-nocookie.com, and thumbnails load from YouTube. Playing a video, or following a link to YouTube, is between you and Google. Their policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

Cookies

A normal visit does not set a tracking cookie. The only cookie this site sets is on the private admin page, so the admin can stay signed in. Visitors do not get it.

YouTube can set its own cookies once the player loads. A store you open from a gear link can set its own cookies to credit the click. Those cookies belong to those sites.

Affiliate Links

Some gear links are affiliate links. If you buy through one, Freedom Plan LLC may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. The purchase is with that store. This site does not see your payment.

Third Parties

These services run pieces of the site. Each has its own policy.

• Cloudflare hosts the site and stores the list, partner notes, and request logs.
• Resend delivers Notes from the Bench.
• Fourthwall hosts shop.hamradioplayground.com and supplies the products. This site receives an email from Fourthwall only when the buyer opts in.
• YouTube serves embedded video and thumbnails.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to:

• See the personal data this site holds about you.
• Correct an address that is wrong.
• Delete that data.
• Stop the notes by using the unsubscribe link in a note.
• Complain to your local data-protection authority.

Email hello@hamradioplayground.com for a copy, a correction, or a deletion. To stop the notes, use the unsubscribe link in a note. A partner note and a list address are the records this site can look up.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Where the Data Goes

Cloudflare, Resend, YouTube, and Fourthwall operate in more than one country, including the United States. Using the site, subscribing, or opting in on a shop order means that transfer can happen.

Changes

This page can be updated. The date at the top is the date of the latest version.
