These terms govern your use of hamradioplayground.com. By using the site, you agree to them. The shop at shop.hamradioplayground.com is a separate site and has its own checkout rules.

Use of the Site

You may read the pages and watch the embedded videos for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not scrape the site, copy it into another product, or republish the writing, photos, or video without written permission.

Not Operating Advice

The videos, bench notes, and builds are a record of a build or an operating session. They are not engineering sign-off, not a license course, and not legal advice. You are the control operator of your own station. The rules where you transmit are yours to follow. Freedom Plan LLC is not your lawyer and not an examiner.

Affiliate Links

Some gear links are affiliate links. If you buy through one, Freedom Plan LLC may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. The sale, the return, and the warranty are with that store. This site does not take the payment and does not issue the refund. An affiliate relationship does not change the price you pay.

The Shop

hamradioplayground.com does not sell anything and does not store a card number. It does not take payment, ship orders, or issue refunds. Goods are sold on shop.hamradioplayground.com. Fourthwall hosts that shop and supplies the products. Freedom Plan LLC runs the shop. If you opt in to email at checkout, the email on the order is added to Notes from the Bench. If you do not opt in, the order is not added here.

Notes from the Bench are free. You can unsubscribe from any message.

Intellectual Property

The text, photos, graphics, and video on this site belong to Freedom Plan LLC unless a credit says otherwise. You get a personal, non-transferable right to read and watch them. You do not get a right to resell them or republish them.

Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the site for anything unlawful.
• Try to get into the admin page, the database, or another person’s unsubscribe link.
• Scrape, copy, or republish the content without permission.
• Send a partner note or a signup with a false name or a false email.

Other Sites

Links to YouTube, gear stores, the shop, and other ham sites leave this site. Those sites set their own rules. This site is not responsible for what they publish or how they treat a purchase.

No Warranty

The site and everything on it are provided as they are, without a warranty of any kind. Pages can be wrong, out of date, or unavailable. A build that worked on one bench can fail on another.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, Freedom Plan LLC and Ham Radio Playground are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages from your use of the site or anything you build, buy, or transmit after reading it. This site does not charge for access. Where a limit is allowed, the total liability for a claim is the amount you paid this site for the thing the claim is about. For the free pages, that amount is zero. Money you paid the shop or another store is not a payment to this site.

Indemnification

You agree to cover Freedom Plan LLC and Ham Radio Playground against claims, damages, and expenses that come from your violation of these terms, your transmissions, or your misuse of the site.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. A dispute that cannot be worked out in writing will be brought in the state or federal courts in New York.

Changes

These terms can be updated. The date at the top is the date of the latest version. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
