The day before Thanksgiving. He is thankful for the people watching, and several of them have asked how to support the channel or be part of it. Stickers at hamfests do not reach everyone. The shop is the fix. CQ Swag, the other business, will keep adding pieces. This week already has new items. He will not tell anyone to buy a printed product until he has held a sample. A third party prints on demand and ships straight to the buyer.
The hat fits. He was not sure about a print instead of embroidery. On his head, he likes it. He will probably add embroidered hats later, because that is the finish he prefers. This one did not come out badly.
The show stickers are the ones he has been giving away. Some of them are only the playground logo, without the subscribe mark. His complaint about that vendor, and he uses them for more than one business, is the backing. No split. You fight the corner. Sometimes the vinyl lifts, and the sticker goes down with a curled edge. The print is good and the price is good, so he keeps ordering. He just ordered more for a product he is only hinting at. A beta signup is on the site. The launch comes after that.
The shop stickers are kiss-cut. He holds two styles up. One does not have the card backing he wants. The shop ones do, so you bend the card and the sticker comes off. Thinner. Cheaper than the bulk stickers cost him, and the bulk price lands near the same number. The coated set is the one he would leave outside. The thin ones, he would put on a go box for a trip and not trust for a long time in the weather. POTA Trip stickers are on a card too. More of those are coming, and those are the ones he will give away. The ones on the site are the ones you order.
He reads the address as shop.hamradioplayground.com. Same banner as the main site, and it is a different site. He closes a block he does not want on camera. Ham It Up, and CQ and Chill. Shirts, and the same art on hoodies. More of both are coming. A lot of the designs used to live on Etsy. They are moving them here. Antenna accessories, shack accessories. Only a couple of products are up. He adds them weekly. Amazon, Etsy, eBay, their own shops, Shopify. The point is one place. CQ Swag may still get a separate site, and some of that stock will be listed here too. A discount for people who watch is a hint. He does not read a code.
The band markers are his, and he stumbles on the name. For people building wire antennas, so the bands are obvious. Pick the color of the tag, then the color of the text. Same color is allowed. Black on black is hard to see, and people order it. Yellow, orange, the rest. A set of 11: 6, 10, 12, 15, 17, 20, 30, 40, 60, 80, and 160. Ten dollars.
Shack accessories has one product. A wall hanger for a handheld. He has several in the shop. The belt clip drops into the slot. Any radio with a belt clip fits. A four-pack is $10, and the screws and the rest of the hardware are in it.
He clicks the wrong link and lands on the main site, then gets back. Mugs. Coffee, tea, whiskey if that is what you drink. Playground and POTA Trip, and more lines for hams are coming. The shop went up last week. Downloads and giveaways for guides. The APRS iGate video has a complete guide here, and it is free. The newsletter is community news. He says he will not fill an inbox.
The support line he keeps is still the subscribe button. It costs nothing, it tells YouTube, and the bell is optional. Then he goes to work, and he hopes the Thanksgiving is a good one.

The day before Thanksgiving. He thanks the people who watch. They have asked how to support the channel and how to be part of it. Stickers at shows do not reach everyone, so there is a shop. CQ Swag products will be added. New items went up this week. Printed goods come from a vendor who prints on demand and ships to the buyer. He wanted samples before he told anyone to buy.
The hat fits. He was unsure about print versus embroidery and likes it on his head. The giveaway stickers, some without the subscribe mark, are a peel problem. No split in the backing. Corners lift and then curl on the surface. Quality and price are why he still orders. He just ordered more for a new product. Beta signup, then the launch. Shop stickers are kiss-cut. Bend the card and they peel. A little thin, cheaper, and bulk on the other style gets him to about the same price. The coated ones are for outdoors. The thin ones are all right on a go box, not for a long time outside. POTA Trip stickers are on a card, with more coming that he will give away. The site is where you order them.
He opens shop.hamradioplayground.com. Same banner, different site. Ham It Up and CQ and Chill, shirts and hoodies, more on the way, including designs from Etsy. A couple of antenna and shack items, more each week. Amazon, Etsy, eBay, their shops, Shopify, being pulled into one place. CQ Swag may stay on its own site too. A watcher discount is a hint. Band markers: pick tag color and text color, including black on black. Eleven bands, 6 through 160, the list he reads, $10. One shack product, a wall hanger. The belt clip drops in. Any handheld with a clip. Four for $10, hardware included. He wears the hat on camera and may add embroidered hats later. Stickers in the shop are the playground and POTA Trip. He clicks through to the main site by mistake. Mugs, and whiskey is allowed. The shop is a week old. The APRS iGate guide is a free download. The newsletter is not supposed to be spam. Subscribe is still the ask. Thanksgiving.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why are there two kinds of stickers?
The ones he has been handing out at shows come from a vendor he uses for several businesses. No split in the backing, so the corner fight can lift the vinyl and the sticker curls. Print and price are why he keeps ordering. He just ordered more for a product that is not launched. There is a beta signup, then the full release. The shop versions are kiss-cut. Bend the card and they peel. He thinks they are a little thin. Buying the other style in bulk gets him to about the same price. Those have a coating meant for outdoors. The thin ones, he would put on a go box and not on something that lives in the weather.
What can you actually buy?
Hats, the one on his head. Shirts and hoodies, including Ham It Up and CQ and Chill, with more coming from designs they used to sell on Etsy. Antenna accessories and shack accessories, only a couple of products so far, added weekly. Band markers, $10, eleven bands, pick the tag color and the text color. Wall hangers for handhelds, four for $10, hardware in the pack, and he already uses them in the shop. Playground and POTA Trip stickers. Mugs, including POTA Trip, and he says whiskey in the mug is fine. More sayings are coming. The shop went up the week of this video.
What is free?
The complete APRS iGate guide, the one from the build video, as a download. Giveaways and other guides are the plan. An email list for community news, which he says will not be a pile of mail. A subscriber discount is a hint, not a code. He still says the subscribe button is the support that costs nothing.
